I provide psychotherapy and mental health counselling .

I am trained and familiar with the following counselling approaches: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness, Family Systems, Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, and Gestalt Therapy to name a few. 

I treat mental health issues ranging from depression, anxiety, various states of crisis, grief, trauma, abuse, self-esteem issues, control disorders (i.e. eating), relationship and family issues. 

My goal is to help you heal.  If you find that my methods are not working or that you don't feel that we have created a good therapeutic relationship, I would encourage you to tell me so we can either proceed in a manner more suitable to your needs or terminate therapy if you desire.  I do try to get my patients to set attainable goals and often provide tools/homework (so-to-speak) that they can work on/with to help with the progression of their healing. 

I accept individuals, couples and families.

For individual therapy, I accept patients aged 16 and up.

I require a consent form to be understood and signed before therapy can begin.  This form will be provided at our first session.

I cannot write prescriptions for medications.  Please see your medical doctor, psychiatrist, or qualified nurse if you require medication.   

I provide my services in English only.
